This is the same view as the one above, of the mountain that towers over the Muli monastery and the Litang river valley.

Only a few buildings remain of this former lama city. Where once there were dwellings for more than 700 monks, now there are a couple of buildings to house and service the needs of one tenth that number. The trees have been hacked down, and so have the buildings of Muli.
