Drombo's daughter, Yulongsi, 1999

This is the daughter of Drombo, who still lives in Yulongsi, which is little changed since Rock's time. I stayed in this isolated little community while on my way to the Minya Konka Gompa [monastery] on horseback from Kangding.

While I was showing my hosts some of Rock's article, she suddenly exclaimed - "That's my father!"
